GK LAUNCH SERVICES ORDERS A LAUNCH VEHICLE FOR ITS FIRST MANIFESTED MISSION
Moscow, Russia – February 20, 2018г – GK Launch Services signed a contract with Progress Space Rocket Center, a Russian space industry leader, for supply of Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket for a SC launch to sun-synchronous orbit scheduled for Q4 2019.
At present, the interaction with a primary customer for launch preparation activities is in full speed. Rideshare capabilities are still available at this launch mission, and GK is negotiating secondary payload contracts with partners, which are to be finalized by late 2018.

GK Launch Services is an operator of Soyuz-2 LV commercial launches from the Russian spaceports.
Progress Space Rocket Center is one of the leaders in the Russian space industry. It is a designer, manufacturer, and operator of medium-class launch vehicles. The vehicles built here are used for delivering manned and transport spaceships to the International Space Station, as well as for orbiting foreign payloads.
